Medicare

Medicare can be confusing! Here's a quick breakdown.  Call me if you have questions! 817-874-8672

Medicare Part A

Medicare Part A is Hospital Insurance, and is automatically granted to Americans when they turn 65. There is no applicator process. 

Medicare Part B

Medicare Part B is Medical Insurance, and is automatically granted to Americans when they turn 65.  There is no application process.

Medicare Advantage

Medicare Part C, also known as Medicare Advantage,  provides coverage through private insurance companies approved by Medicare. 

Medicare Prescription

Drug Coverage

Medicare Part D is Prescription Drug Coverage, offered by Medicare. You must join a plan in order to receive this benefit.

Medicare Supplement (Medigap)

Medicare Supplement plans, also known as Medigap, can be purchased to help cover certain health care costs not covered by Original Medicare, like copayments, premiums and deductibles.
